Most doctors will move their patients into the "Puree Diet" before leaving the hospital. But if you do go home on the "Liquid Diet," here are some recipe suggestions. You probably will get bored with Beef or Chicken Broth quickly. So do this; fix your favorite soup then just strain off the liquid for your meal.
